CPR: “Aurora celebrates the holidays with its Asian Pacific American community”

Friend of the Partnership Gil Asakawa,  Manager of Student Media for Journalism & Mass Communication at the University of Colorado, submitted an article to Colorado Public Radio about the Aurora Asian/Pacific Community Partnership’s annual Holiday Friends Gathering held this week.  In keeping with the theme of Holiday Tea, Maria Cheng, the Co-Founder and Co-Artistic Director of TEA (www.Theatre-Esprit-Asia.org) presented a monologue from her one-woman play “Spirit & Sworded Treks” — a vignette based on her early childhood football memory of rooting for the Colts and the “great Johnny Unitas”!  Such a fun story retold as if we were there.  Khadijah was the beautifuil belly dancer, an international artist of Middle-Eastern dance, music and beyond (www.khadijahdancer.net).  To read the article, please follow this...
