A united effort is underway to help the victims of the Typhoon Ondoy in the Philippines:

We need each other in good times as well as in bad times. 

1. There is a unified effort to raise funds for the Typhoon Ondoy under the National Federation of Filipino American Associations (NaFFAA) umbrella.

The participating organizations are Philippine American Society of Co (PASCO), Filipino American Community of Co (FACC), Pilipino American Golf Association (PAGA), Couples for Christ (CFC), Philippine Nurses Association of Co (PNACO), University of the Philippines Alumni Association (UPAA).

2.. This Unified effort will be monetary.
    
The money collected will be sent to the Philippine National Red Cross (PNRC).
The launching event for this fundraising effort will be the NaFFAA Filipiniana on Oct.17, 2009 at Four Points Hotel at Hampden and I225. See flyer below. We're still soliciting Auction Baskets beginning at $50.00.

3. A BalikBayan Campaign is a PASCO initiative and we are collecting non perishable items (canned goods, slightly used children and adult clothings, medicines, and bed sheets We are collaborating with COFOREX ( http://co-forexcargo.blogspot.com) who will do the shipping. This will be an ongoing project.
