Learn how to make Parol lanterns. Parol lanterns, traditional star lanterns from the Philippines, are used as festive decorations during the holidays. Limit one lantern per registration. Open to ages 7 to Adult. All children under 14 must be accompanied by an adult.

Ukulele Lessons and “Just Talking Story”

Explore Hawaiian culture and history through music. Each month the museum hosts a thirty-minute presentation about Hawaiian culture followed by a group ukulele lesson. Topics include food, dance, music and more.  Keoni Lagunero’s free ukulele lessons will immediately follow the presentation.  A limited number of ukuleles are available to borrow, please call (303) 739-6663 or email to reserve one.
