•  The Aurora Asian/Pacific Community Partnership was a recipient of the 2006 International City/County Management Association Program Excellence Award in the category of Community Partnership for demonstrating innovative, multi-participant involvement between and/or among a local government, businesses, individuals, or nonprofit agencies to improve the quality of life for residents.

•  For the second time in three years, the Aurora Asian Film Festival was selected in 2006 as the “Top Specialty Film Festival”
by the Rocky Mountain News.
