a nonprofit organization working together with the community toward creating and maintaining a high quality of life for all Asian Pacific American residents and businesses of Aurora. Established in 1991 and currently operating as a program of Spirit of Aurora, a 501(c)(3) organization, the Partnership has initiated a variety of projects and events that have been consistent with its mission–providing business assistance, cultural awareness programs and educational services, with a goal to improve communication with all Aurora’s citizens while promoting the City’s diverse cultural interests. The Aurora Asian/Pacific Community Partnership Steering Committee is an impressive group of leaders from the greater Asian Pacific American (APA) communities and the city of Aurora. The Steering Committee has an interest in the mission of the Partnership and in its success within Aurora, whether the interests be business-related, cultural, educational or simply to gain new friendships of like interests within the community.
